REGION: Poker run to benefit Team Amber Rescue Posted: 10 Mar 2011 10:14 PM PST North County Times - The Californian | Posted: Thursday, March 10, 2011 10:05 pm | | Print A poker run in North County, set for Saturday and dubbed Harley Gras Fusion, will benefit Team Amber Rescue and Rock to Stop the Violence, organizers said. Information about the event, hosted by Biggs Harley-Davidson, can be found at www.biggsh-d.com. Registration runs from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Kennedy's Custom Cycles. Stops on the run will include Hernandez Hideaway in Escondido and Walnut Grove Park in San Marcos. The final stop will be at Biggs Harley Davidson, 1040 Los Vallecitos Blvd., Suite 113, San Marcos. Riders will turn in their poker hands at Biggs. Capping off the poker run is the Harley Gras Celebration Event, featuring live entertainment, a fashion show and game booths. Named after kidnapped and slain Escondido teen Amber Dubois, Team Amber Rescue trains volunteers in search and rescue techniques. Rock to Stop Violence is a community organization dedicated to violence education, prevention and recovery.
