Raise some "Awear"-ness with the Sojourner Family Peace Center

The Sojourner Family Peace Center and Milwaukee R&B artist Cincere are joining forces to break the cycle of domestic violence with a spin down the runway.

"Awear," the center's annual fashion show and fundraiser, is set for Thursday, March 24 at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception and food stations, followed by a performance from Cincere, a Milwaukee native and survivor of domestic violence.

Cincere, as well as local celebrity models Cecelia Gore, president of the Brewers Community Foundation, and media personality Julie Feldman, will show off fashions from Miss Groove, Simon Oliver, m.e. Lou, Goldi, Zita, Picardy Shoe Parlour and Boston Store.
